40th Anniversary Celebration!

Crossroads Insurance is so excited for their 40th Anniversary! Winnipeg has enable us to become very successful since we started so long ago, so we feel that a 9-month long party of giveaways and prizes was the best thing to do!

In February we gave away a romantic get-a-way to Country Charm resort, and in March we presented our winner with a beautiful patio set to start preparing for spring. For April, we happily offered a fantastic Ten Spa package to a lucky winner to get pampered and relax.

This month of May is one of our bigger prizes, surely to get anyone's attention. One winner can receive 4 tickets! 2 for Bryan Adams, and 2 for Cirque du Soleil! Just an awesome opportunity!!

Renovating This Spring? Some Useful Info.......

So, you've finally come out of your winter hibernation and realize it's time to decorate, or renovate your home. Larger renovations and home improvements may require additional coverage for your home insurance package.

Vehicle insurance is provided on a public basis in Manitoba. Renewals occur on a five year schedule, four months after your birth date. Your driver’s license, identification card and any Autopac coverage expire together and are normally renewed at the same time. Payment of outstanding premium is all that is required at the anniversary each year during the term.

To transfer your out-of-province driver’s license and/or vehicle insurance to Manitoba, you will require several documents.

You have 90 days from the date of your move to Manitoba to transfer your driver’s license and insurance over from your previous jurisdiction or until your current license and registration expires, whichever comes first.

Personalized Plates

Next to a house, a car is likely the most expensive, single purchase a person will make. While a car can say a lot about lifestyle, personality, and taste, many people today prefer to let their personalized license plates speak for themselves.

Personalized plates are rapidly becoming a treasured item for car owners. As a gift for yourself or someone else, personalized license plates can make a statement about a profession, favorite hobby, status in life or pride in vehicle ownership.

Now for the avid Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan you can always get a personalized Blue Bomber plate to support our local team. It was announced on April 21st that Bomber fans will be able to purchase limited edition Blue Bomber license plates at any Autopac agency in early June 2011.

For those who are interested in purchasing and supporting the Bombers the plates cost $70 dollars, and $30 of that goes right back to our local Blue Bombers team. The plates range from BB0100 to BB8100, so there are limited amounts available, so make sure you get in to your nearest Autopac dealer to order your very own Blue Bomber license plate at the beginning of June so you don’t miss out on your opportunity to support your local Bombers.

Also currently offered to the public of course are your veteran plates as well. In order to qualify for a veterans plate you do have to pay a $5 fee to a local Legion and have proof of that when you submit your application for the veteran plates. You can select which ever language you would wish your VETERAN plate to appear in.

Whether you have served in the Canadian Armed Forces, know somebody that has served, or just wish to show your support for all of those that have served our country, then a Veteran plate is a great way to show your support.
